CARRIER COMMUNITY RULES

My Transporter Community Rules, the My Transporter app and www.tasimacim.com(collectively referred to as the “My Carrier Platform”) was developed to provide customers, drivers, couriers and businesses with a great experience and make them feel safe and respected while ensuring quality of service.

Our rules apply to everyone who uses the Taşımacım Platform, including, but not limited to, customers, drivers, couriers, and businesses. They also apply to anyone who interacts with Taşımacım employees and business partners through online support systems or by phone.

In addition, our rules apply, in some cases, to conduct outside of the Transporter Platform that we are aware of and have knowledge of, including but not limited to information received from other platforms, particularly when such conduct may threaten the security of the Transporter Platform.

We invite you to join us in providing a supportive and welcoming environment for everyone on the Transport Platform.

Our rules below will explain some of the behaviors or circumstances that may impact your experience on the Transporter Platform, as well as some of the positive community engagement on the Transporter Platform. Transporter reserves the right to change, modify, or otherwise update our rules (including our policies incorporated into them) at any time. You are strongly encouraged to read our rules regularly. The rules below, which we will update regularly, form the basis for the behavior we expect from everyone in the Transporter Platform. Our rules are reviewed and updated periodically.

It's important to understand our rules. Failure to comply with any of our standards may be considered a material breach of the Terms and Conditions and may impact your experience on the Transporter Platform, including loss of access to the Transporter Platform and/or other consequences, if any.

Rules for All of Us

Everyone using the Transporter Platform must comply with Transporter's Community Guidelines.

1.Respect

Our primary goal in our rules and policies is to promote positive communication and service during every experience.

2. Security

Our team is committed to continuously working to make your experience safer when using the Transporter Platform. The safety of our customers, drivers, and couriers is of utmost importance to us.

3. Obeying the Law

We expect everyone using the Taşımacım Platform to do their part to strictly adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

4.Feedback

We value and welcome your feedback, thoughts, concerns, and comments, as long as they are expressed in a way that respects us and our community. Our team is constantly evolving our rules and policies, and your feedback is important to us in helping us take appropriate action based on your experience on the Transport Platform.

Respect                                                 

Everyone in the Transporter community should act with respect, courtesy, and compassion, as they would want to be treated. The way you approach using the Transporter Platform can make an impact. That's why courtesy is important, and you are expected to use good judgment and treat others with good manners when using the Transporter Platform and interacting with others in the Transporter community—just as you would in any public place.

Late deliveries are a problem for both the recipient and the sender, so please be on time for your pick-up or drop-off. Safety is our top priority, so always drive carefully, within the speed limit, and obey local traffic laws. After your trip, contacting either the recipient or the sender for any personal reasons is strictly prohibited. Even in a disagreement, do not take matters into your own hands by shouting, using profane language, or slamming doors.

1.1 Physical Force or Injury, Coercion, Threats and Abuse

You are strictly prohibited from committing any sexual offense. You must never engage in any sexual conduct or related sexual assault or abuse.

While using the Transporter Platform, do not engage in physical contact with anyone you meet. However, exceptions are permitted for people who require or request physical assistance with a package being delivered. Any form of physical force is strictly prohibited.

Respecting personal space and privacy is something we all value. It's okay to have a casual conversation, as long as the other party is comfortable talking to you. Don't ask about other people's personal lives or pass judgment on their appearance.

The list below provides examples of inappropriate behavior; however, it's important to note that these are not exhaustive and that sexual assault and harassment can include any behavior. These may seem stricter than other platforms, but that's because we want to keep you as safe as possible while using the Taşımacım Platform.

  • Personal questions (for example, about relationship status, finances, or sexual orientation) should not be asked because personal questions and invasions of personal space are generally considered inappropriate;
  • It's important to note that harassment varies across societal and personal norms. For example, comments about appearance can be offensive to others. This includes both derogatory and complimentary comments;
  • No explicit comments or gestures that are sexual in nature and may offend others (e.g., non-verbal gestures, explicit images, suggestive messages);
  • No flirting with anyone (e.g., flirting without using words, being flirty, or being too close);
  • Inappropriate materials must not be displayed (for example, sexually explicit objects or images);
  • We strongly advise you to respect the privacy and personal space of other customers. Sending messages or calling the sender or recipient for purposes other than professional is both a form of harassment and a violation of personal security and data protection rights;
  • Must not display pornographic or obscene content or content that contains sexual violence or assault; and
  • Violent or aggressive behavior should be avoided at all times, as my carrier does not condone any form of violence or aggression. Everyone should refrain from aggressive behavior such as verbal arguments, making obscene or insinuating remarks, threats, or physical violence.

1.2 Threatening and Rude Behavior

Angry or rude outbursts, aggressive or harassing behavior are strictly prohibited. Avoid using foul language or engaging in any form of violence, aggression, disrespect, or inappropriate behavior. Do not share graphic images (such as those depicting sexually explicit or physical violence) with others in the Taşımacım community; this includes sharing or distributing such images through Taşımacım's online support systems or in connection with a Taşımacım Platform experience. Even if you have differing opinions or perceptions on matters such as religious beliefs and political affiliations, it's a good idea to steer clear of engaging in potentially divisive topics. Everyone should avoid any aggressive or rude behavior, including engaging in verbal arguments, being rude, threatening, or physically assaulting. If a situation escalates out of control, never take matters into your own hands or escalate tensions (i.e., do not harass or threaten, regardless of whether the ride is ongoing or has ended). Always inform Taşımacım Platform as soon as possible if a problem arises. We aim to serve all parties fairly and will take appropriate action.

1.3 Post-Trip Communication

Customers, drivers, and couriers should only use the communication methods provided by the Taşımacım Platform to facilitate smooth delivery. Any communication and engagement must end after the journey or delivery is complete. Contacting or following up with customers after the delivery is complete for any reason is a violation of privacy and privacy, and you may be subject to legal action, including but not limited to criminal liability. Taşımacım will not be held responsible or share any liability for your actions. For any returns or lost items, customers can contact Taşımacım through the apps. Unwanted contact, such as texting, calling, social media communication, visiting, or attempting to visit someone in person after a journey or delivery is complete, may be considered harassment. Everyone's safety and security is important to us, so please do not share unnecessary contact information. Unauthorized disclosure of personal information or delivery details is strictly prohibited. You also submit to and agree to abide by Taşımacım's privacy policy. You will indemnify Taşımacım from any penalties, damages, or claims arising from your violation of the foregoing.

1.4 Discrimination

We strive to ensure you always feel safe and welcome. We will not tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment of any kind, including from our My Transport Customer Service team and Driver Handling team.

It is against the law to discriminate against someone for the following reasons:

  • yaş
  • color (black, white)
  • disability
  • gender
  • marital status
  • national origin
  • pregnancy and motherhood
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sexual orientation

Discrimination can occur in the following ways:

  • You may not refuse to provide services to a person based on their race, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender, marital status, gender identity, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. Such action may result in loss of access to the Transporter Platform. Making derogatory or discriminatory remarks about a person or group, regardless of whether the other party belongs to the group, is disrespectful.
  • Discrimination based on these characteristics or a pickup location or delivery location will not be tolerated. If you intentionally decline or cancel requests solely to avoid a particular neighborhood or people or businesses within that neighborhood, or if you use features on the Transporter Platform to cancel delivery requests, this may result in loss of access to the Transporter Platform.

1.5 Safe Delivery

Customers must take extra care to ensure that the document/package is packaged and protected before handing it over to the driver or couriers for delivery. Customers should avoid requesting delivery using a service type that does not meet the item's volume or capacity limits. Drivers and couriers are responsible for ensuring that the order fulfillment does not exceed the vehicle's weight or volume capacity and/or pose a safety risk.

During the delivery process, the driver or courier is not permitted to damage or open any packages or documents. Any loss or damage to the items (packages/documents) during delivery is the responsibility of the driver or courier. Drivers and couriers must provide appropriate photo confirmation of the delivery, where necessary, for others on the Transporter Platform to view.

1.6 Making a Positive Impression

When a customer receives the wrong items or no items at all, it can lead to a poor and incomplete experience. Businesses should be vigilant about delivering the correct items in their My Carrier orders.

High cancellation rates leave a negative experience for Taşımacım Platform customers.

Wherever possible, track order requests submitted through the My Carrier Platform. If any alerts are required, please ensure the customer is contacted.

Security                                                  

We believe everyone has a role to play in ensuring and encouraging a safer and friendlier experience. That's why we have standard requirements around account sharing, account holder age, and more.

2.1 Account Sharing

Only you are permitted to access an account registered in your name. Account sharing is not permitted. To use the Taşımacım Platform, you must open and maintain an active account. You may not allow anyone else to use your account, nor may you share your account, password, or photo with anyone. All activities conducted on your account will be deemed to have been conducted by Taşımacım. You are responsible for protecting your privacy and all uses of your information, even without authorization. Therefore, never share personal information used in connection with your account access to the Taşımacım Platform. The security of your account is your responsibility.

The driver or courier must complete all parts of the delivery themselves (including any process from the moment the order is received until the final delivery to the recipient) without exception.

2.2 Persons Under Legal Age

If you are an individual, you must be of legal age (i.e., 18 years of age) or older to have a My Transporter account. Account holders are not permitted to request services for anyone under that legal age unless accompanied by the account holder or another adult when shipping or receiving a delivery. These age restrictions apply unless our local rules, terms, or other policies change.

2.3 Vehicle Information

Maintain your vehicle in compliance with safety standards and local regulations. Ensure you only use vehicles registered with Taşımacım. To ensure smooth and easy delivery, the Taşımacım Platform provides customers with identifying information about couriers, drivers, and their vehicles, which may include the vehicle license plate number, model, profile picture, and driver's name. It is your responsibility to update and resubmit your documents if they expire or change anything.

Only authorized vehicles must be used to make trips and deliveries by drivers and couriers. You must always have a valid driver's license and any other permits or licenses required by the relevant authorities. You and your vehicle must also be covered by valid insurance as required by local regulations and the relevant authority.

2.4 Proper Maintenance and Repair

Drivers and couriers are expected to maintain their vehicles in good and safe working order (as required by law or otherwise) in order to use the My Transport Platform. No matter how well you drive, you won't be safe unless your vehicle is in good working order. You must maintain the condition of your vehicle by having it properly serviced at regular intervals. Otherwise, your vehicle could fail you at a crucial time.

Read your vehicle's owner's manual thoroughly to learn about its maintenance schedule and requirements. Maintenance schedules vary greatly from one vehicle to another.

Perform regular 360-Degree Vehicle Inspections, including proper tire inflation, clean windows, headlights, and mirrors, fluid leaks, and windshield wiper blade wear as you walk around the car. This simple practice will ensure safe driving and only takes a few minutes.

2.5 Seat Belts

We always recommend wearing seat belts, whether in the front or back seats, as they can be the most effective way to save lives and reduce injuries in a crash. Seat belts may be required by law, and in such cases, you must wear them as required by law.

2.6 Helmet Use for Motorcycles

For your safety, find the right helmet for your motorcycle ride. These helmets will keep you safe and protected while riding if you follow the manufacturer's instructions (including fitting them securely under your chin and across your forehead). A helmet protects your skull and head in the riding environment. Helmets (including the type of helmet and safety certification) may be required by law, and you must wear them as required by law.

2.7 Use of Vehicle Cameras Recording Video and/or Audio

It's recommended that you install and use a dashcam (vehicle dash cam) to record your rides and provide evidence to Transport My, law enforcement, or insurance companies if something goes wrong during a ride, to help determine the cause or fault. Please note the following information:

  • In certain circumstances and in some locations, local privacy laws and regulations require a traveler to consent to being recorded.
  • Drivers may submit footage to My Transporter at their discretion. My Transporter will review the submitted footage and take any necessary and appropriate action in accordance with our rules and platform terms of use.
  • Sharing or publishing personal data captured through your interaction with us, our customer, our driver, in-car audio and/or video recording during the trip (e.g., your image or voice, or both, and related metadata) on social media or other digital or physical public places is a violation of our rules and may lead to further investigation by our security team.

2.8 Stay Alert, Aware, and Alert While Driving

Operating a motor vehicle while drowsy puts you and other road users at risk. You should do your part to keep yourself and others safe, including keeping your eyes on the road, being well-rested, avoiding long hours of work, and avoiding sleep-inducing medications or alcoholic beverages so you can react quickly to any situation.

2.9 Share the Road

As a safe driver, you must be aware of the importance of safety. A sound understanding of defensive driving can significantly reduce or even prevent accidents. Defensive driving is a type of driving that uses a variety of approaches and tactics to keep you safe and avoid inconvenience caused by other road users.

Protective driving:

  • Keeping your pace under control
  • Keeping your eyes forward and preparing for the unexpected
  • Staying alert and unaffected by distractions
  • Be prepared for various actions and reactions of other drivers and pedestrians.
  • Expect other drivers to behave differently than usual
  • Observe and respect other drivers
  • Keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front of you
  • Ensuring safe driving by taking into account (and/or adjusting) weather and/or road conditions
  • To avoid braking in the middle of a bend, adjust your speed before approaching the bend.

2.10 Extraordinary Situations

Public emergency preparedness relies heavily on planning. My Carrier may, at its discretion, take additional measures to mitigate emergencies and attempt to protect the security of our platform during public emergencies, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, public health emergencies, strikes, and public crises.

For example, if My Transporter receives notification from a government authority that anyone using the My Transporter Platform may cause potential harm to the public at large, we may temporarily suspend the individual's access until and unless it is reasonably safe to allow the individual to continue using the My Transporter Platform.

Similarly, we may prevent individuals in a city or region from using part or all of the Transporter Platform during a public health emergency, natural disaster, strike, or other public crisis, or impose other requirements to comply with guidance from authorities when the continued availability of the Transporter Platform could pose a serious and dangerous threat to the public.

2.11 Providing a Safe Area for Delivery

My carrier must demonstrate good judgment and conduct around customers, drivers, and couriers, ensuring their well-being. Customers must also arrange a safe location for delivery; for example, preventing incidents at the facility that could endanger drivers' lives.

2.12 Alcohol, Drugs, Weapons and All Illegal Items Will Not Be Tolerated

The transport of illegal drugs, alcohol, and weapons is prohibited. If you have reason to suspect the nature of the contents of your package and that it contains goods and/or services that are not part of My Carrier's offerings or are suspected of being illegal and/or dangerous goods, please do not handle the package further and alert My Carrier and the authorities.

Obey the Law                                         

Everyone must comply with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the Transporter's terms, conditions, and policies. Using the Transporter's Platform to commit any crime, including drug trafficking, money laundering, sexual harassment, or to violate any other legislation is specifically prohibited.

Avoid traffic violations and reckless driving that could endanger your own life, the lives of other road users, and pedestrians. This includes obeying regulations, traffic laws, speed limits, road signals, and traffic lights. You should always wear a seat belt or helmet as required by law.

3.1 Drugs and Alcohol

If you are a driver or courier, do not drink or use drugs while on the job, as you cannot drive or ride a motorcycle while intoxicated. Driving or riding a motorcycle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs your ability to safely operate a vehicle may be against the law. Illegal substances, open alcohol bottles, and weapons are not permitted in your vehicle. If a customer or member of the public believes you may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they have the right to immediately terminate the booking and alert My Transporter or the authorities. The use of drugs and alcohol is never permitted while using the My Transporter Platform.

3.2 Firearms Ban

Customers and their recipients, as well as drivers and couriers, are strictly prohibited from carrying firearms while using the My Transport Platform, to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

3.3 Fraud

Deception can undermine trust and also lead to danger. It is prohibited to deliberately falsify information or assume another person's identity as your own (for example, when logging in or passing a security check). It is important to provide accurate information when reporting incidents, creating and accessing your My Carrier accounts, and disputing charges or fees. Only claim charges or refunds to which you are entitled, and only use offers and promotions as intended. Do not intentionally conduct invalid operations.

Fraudulent activities:

  • A deliberate increase in the time or distance of a journey or delivery for fraudulent or other purposes,
  • Accepting orders or delivery requests without the intention of completing them, including encouraging customers to cancel for fraudulent purposes.
  • Creating fictitious accounts or orders for fraudulent purposes,
  • Claiming fraudulent charges such as waiting fees or possible cleaning,
  • Claiming to have completed a delivery without ever receiving the delivery item,
  • Receiving a delivery item and keeping all or part of the order instead of delivering the entire order,
  • Taking actions to interfere with or manipulate the normal operation of the Platform and GPS system,
  • Abuse offers or promotions and/or not use them for their intended purposes,
  • Creating incorrect duplicate accounts,
  • Use of unauthorized applications or tools to access or benefit from the Platform,
  • Falsification of documents, files or other data for fraudulent purposes

It includes but is not limited to these.

3.4 Off-Platform Orders

To ensure every experience is as safe as possible while remaining compliant with local laws (if applicable), all trips on the My Transport platform must be arranged through the My Transport app.

Drivers and couriers are prohibited from accepting payment for delivery on the Transporter platform outside of the platform they are not authorized to use.

For cash orders, customers should remember to bring the full amount to cover the delivery cost.

Drivers and couriers must always pay Taşımacım's service fees on cash orders when they accept the order.

3.5 Other Unacceptable Activities

Acts of theft are not only not tolerated when using the Transporter Platform, they are also a criminal offense. This includes, but is not limited to, intentionally depriving or misleading other parties on the platform for material or financial purposes.

Do not use Carrier's trademark or intellectual property without permission. Where local regulations require the display of Carrier's branded products, drivers and couriers must only use Carrier's branded products obtained from Carrier. Drivers and couriers should not present themselves as driving or delivering with Carrier if they do not have access to the Carrier's Platform. Drivers and couriers must return any items bearing the Carrier's mark (if any) to Carrier if they lose access to the Carrier's Platform. The use of unauthorized or third-party items, such as lights, license plates, signs, or similar items bearing Carrier's name or trademark, may create confusion among customers.

Feedback                                            

Our team is constantly evolving our policies, and as our technology evolves, your feedback is used to ensure we adhere to them. Therefore, your feedback is important. Please rate your experience after each trip or delivery is completed. Honest feedback helps ensure everyone is accountable for their actions. This contributes to creating a respectful and safe environment.

If something happens on the road, such as a collision, you can report it by tapping Help in the app so our Customer Service team or Driver Businesses team can investigate and provide timely support if necessary. In an emergency or if you find yourself in immediate danger, contact your local authorities or emergency services before contacting My Transport.

4.1 Evaluations

Customers, vendors, drivers, and couriers can all receive and give ratings, as well as provide information about how the trip or delivery went. This feedback method increases accountability and contributes to a respectful, safe, and transparent environment for everyone. The app allows drivers and couriers to view their current ratings. By opening the app and tapping on their profile, passengers can see their ratings listed under their name.

Drivers, couriers, and customers who do not meet the platform's minimum average rating may lose access to the My Transporter Platform. If you want to maintain a high average rating, it's beneficial to be courteous and respectful to all individuals when using the My Transporter Platform and interacting with others in the My Transporter Community. Most drivers and couriers provide exceptional service, and most drivers, couriers, and customers are courteous and considerate, so most deliveries go smoothly. Individual ratings will not be removed if you contact the My Transporter Customer Service team or the Driver Operations team. We understand that sometimes a trip or delivery doesn't go as planned, which can result in a lower rating.

If you are a driver or courier who has lost access to the My Transport Platform due to low ratings, you may be reinstated if you meet the qualifying requirements and show proof of completing a quality improvement course.

4.2 Cancellation of Delivery

To ensure the smooth operation of our system for all drivers, couriers, and customers, it is strongly recommended that you do not cancel orders unless absolutely necessary (e.g., car breakdown/accidents). If you are unable to pick up or deliver a package due to an emergency, please call the sender/recipient immediately before canceling the booking. Complete any bookings you have made/accepted. This is crucial for building trust and encouraging more customers, drivers, and couriers to use the Transporter Platform. More customers mean more business for drivers and couriers; more drivers and couriers mean faster matching times for customers overall. If you, as a courier, driver, or customer, regularly cancel consecutive trips or orders, your Transporter Platform experience may be impacted.

4.3 How Does My Carrier Enforce Our Rules?

Failure to comply with the above rules may impact your experience on the platform. If you violate any of the Transporter's Terms and Conditions, any of our rules, or any applicable term, condition, or policy, including any additional policies and rules Transporter's may communicate to you from time to time, you may lose access to the Transporter's Platform and/or any other applicable consequences. If you have multiple Transporter's accounts, such as a customer account and a driver account, violating one of our rules may result in you losing access to all of them. In addition, if law enforcement becomes involved, we will assist with their investigations in accordance with local regulations. If you have lost access to the Transporter's Platform due to an error, please contact Transporter's Customer Service or Driver Operations team.

My Transporter receives feedback through various means, and our Customer Service team or Driver Operations team will review reports of potential violations of our policies and may conduct appropriate investigations. If we become aware of potentially harmful behavior, we may contact you to investigate. At our sole discretion, we may suspend or disable your account until our review is complete.

Please provide reasonable photographic confirmation of delivery so others on the platform can see it. False or fabricated reporting is not allowed.

Finally, drivers and couriers interested in using the My Transport Platform must undergo a screening process that includes motor vehicle registration and criminal record checks, as permitted by law. If any of these checks reveal violations of our rules or other requirements imposed by local regulators, a driver or courier will lose access to the My Transport Platform.

Note: My Transporter drivers and couriers are not agents (actual or apparent) or employees of My Transporter. They are unaffiliated third-party service providers.

Our rules, terms, or other policies may change any of the policies described above at any time. Unless otherwise stated, the changed version will be effective immediately upon posting.

In case of any conflict or inconsistency between the translations and/or languages ​​of these community rules, the Turkish version will prevail.
